Cat's got administrative skillz

Ya, she likes to play office when I'm working in mine. Here, she decided to take up temporary residence in a file box. She eventually decided it was less comfortable than laying on my briefcase.

The man has retired!

After 43 years of consecutive, full-time work, dad retires. This pic was taken at his surprise retirement party. And it was actually a surprise. Any concern I had about him enjoying retirement disappeared when I saw this picture. Of course, it could've been the five Manhattans...

New member of the family

After a distressing period of abandonment, I cleaned up this gem and gave her a home. Her name is Marquo Polo - which is how we met, meowing at each other some cat version of the game (it was dark and it was the only way I could find her). She's Siamese with some Tabby. Ya, I have cat.

The flea collar is gone now, as are all the fleas. She was in pretty tough shape, but she should be healthy now! Next step... snip snip.
